I have been told that the French explorers to whom some of the localities on the Eastern shores of Tasmania owe their names, named this island after Saint Joseph. I must say it is a great joy to know that we are in St Joseph’s land, and that Our Lady’s project is underway there.
This past week, I met with archdiocesan officials to look into the legal aspects of the foundation, and yesterday with Archbishop Porteous who has once again expressed his full support for this undertaking which is still in its gestational period. We hope to have a birth date available in the near future. Please continue to support the endeavour with your prayers and any other help you might be able to give, and may Our Blessed Lady protect and guide you and yours.
